Neon Blue Lobster Cherax Quadricarinatus is a stunning addition to an aquarium. It is unusual in the fact that its colour will get better with age (although when it first arrives it may seem quite dull due to shipping this is normal please do not worry to much).
They are territorial to their own kind and so a large aquarium is required to keep multiple specimens. Otherwise, they are generally peaceful and will not bother fish unless they are small and slow enough for the lobster to catch.

Temperature Range: 18-24 C
pH Range: 6.5-8.0
Special Requirements: They need plenty of hiding spaces.
Tanks Mates: They are hardy and peaceful although you should avoid small slow fish as, if they can catch it they will eat it.
Feeding: They are great scavengers and will eat detritus and waste food. Supplementary wafers or pellets should be given where necessary and they should be rich in calcium.

Arrived next day well packaged in early December. 3rd lobster bought from here. All long lived. Very active exploring straight away then out of view the day after. Which makes sense because this one has shed it's exoskeleton 3 days after arrival., probably due to water differences. These have a great personality and recognisable patterns of behaviour. Highly recommended. Added an older video.
I was worried about how the little guy would get to me, but after looking for a neon crawfish for ages I decided to buy from here. He came 2 days later, well packaged 📦 . He now lives in a huge tank of his own and enjoys a bit of bloodworm and alge flake. Would highly recommend!
